Eileen McCarron Cione HARDIN

HARDIN, Eileen McCarron Cione was born on May 7, 1925, in Philadelphia and died on March 15, 2017. She loved to dance and was a dance instructor, opening a Cione Dance studio in Tucson in 1949. She was a member of the senior tap dancing group, the Hot Flashes. Eileen was married to Gail Hardin for 47 years until his death in 2001. Eileen and Gail were one of 10 founding families of St. Alban's Episcopal Church. In 2012 she was named the Parish Distinguished Woman of the Year at St. Alban's. She is survived by son, Steffan (Anne); daughter, Molli; and sister, Joannie, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Alban's Episcopal Church.
