To Beverly and Daughters...I just want to send You my condolences. Inspite of my own issues, Andy was one of the most influential people in my entire life. I'll never forget our fishing trip and all the fun We had together at Sandy's Drive In. Sincerely, Cass Swiderski.

I had every intention of making it to the memorial, but complications from recent back surgery prevented it. I have many fond memories of our time with Bobby Sox and learned a lot about coaching from listening and watchng Andy when I first started coaching. My condolences to all of you. He will be missed.

Mr Liechty was one hell of a Coach and a great man. He will be dearly missed.. My thoughts and prayer's go out to the whole Family.. :(

Mr. Liechty was one of a kind. So, so many of us that grew up under his coaching and guidance can credit our successes on and off the field from the things we were taught at a very early age. And it wasn't always about softball. Many life lessons were learned. One day after practice, Mr. Liechty decided it was time for me and Robin to learn how to change a tire, so he made us rotate the tires on his truck. He found the whole thing very humorous but I knew I could change a tire if I had to after that. Balboa California will probably never forget the crazies from Sahuaro Bobby Sox!! So many memories.
He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. Kim, Kelly, Red and Bean thank you for sharing your Dad with all of us all these years. We have some great memories, don't we? We are forever family 'cause of the great game of softball. Love you all.

Thinking of you all tonight. Remembering all the BobbySox, the endless hours your dad gave. He was always kind and took our mistakes with a gentle shake of the head. He will be missed, but he will also be remembered with a smile. A hug to you Bean - and much love to your whole family.

Andy was a one of a kind person. We grew up togther on the southside of Tucson. We played sandlot baseball, rode bikes & lots of things kids do. He was a great guy, always a big smile and a caring person. We lost tract of each other over the years only to find each other some years ago. He was older with some grey hair but still the guy with the big smile & caring attitude.
I am glad we were friends and am a better person for being around him.
To his family I offer my prayers that the Lord blesses you in every way at this time. Some day we will all be togther again.

Our deepest sympathies are extended to Andy's family and friends. He was an awesome coach for our daughter, Laura, during BobbySox days, and had a big influence on the teams he coached and competed against.
