Ethel Mann Obituary

Ethel Louise Mann 61, beloved wife of Michael B. Mann for 21 years passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Tucson Medical Center in-patient hospice after a long fight with respiratory issues. Ethel was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 8, 1949 to Earl and Lucille Callahan (both deceased). She is survived by one brother, Eugene Callahan and sister-in-law, Helen Callahan of Rock Springs, Wyoming; son, Marvin Williams of Colorado; daughter, Sarah Fowlkes; stepson, Donald Bruce Mann of Tempe, AZ; adopted granddaughter, Maria E. Ruiz and adopted great-granddaughter, Jalexy Paulina Yepiz of Tucson, AZ; eight grandchildren. A viewing was held at SHADOW MOUNTAIN MORTUARY in Phoenix on Saturday, March 19, 2011 for her close friends and family. Ethel was a great lady who made a positive impact on anyone she met or came into contact with because she felt that she could make a difference in this world and she did. She loved quilting, sewing and fishing until she became too ill to continue. Ethel is sorely being missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her and she will live in my heart forever.

I love and miss you so very much. You are and were the light of my life and I am so happy that we shared 21 years happy together. I did go to Pueblo over the weekend and paid for the plot that you and I will share forever next to your parents. I am looking forward to seeing you again, but I have to wait awhile. You were such a good person and I conside myself truly lucky to having met you and sharing all the good times that we had for those 21 happy years.
