SATOUR, Eva M. (Reed) Eva, nine years have passed since you departed from us. They say time heals all wounds but this is not true. We are still grieving over the immense gap you left. Your suitcase is still packed for our next long car trip just as you left it. Dusted off as needed but it is unfathomable that your next and final journey did not require a suitcase. We miss you because you are the best of everything to us. You were the greatest treasure God could give me; and this shall forever connect us. In the yonder world, I am sure you are waiting for me. In my daily conversations with God, you are always mentioned at the beginning and end when I express my thankfulness. We miss the sound of your voice and seeing you in your place at the table or you cooking. Looking at the sky reminds me of you… after all our granddaughter, Natalie named a star after you. As you know, you are someone special to us. You left an unforgettable legacy of love, wisdom, and cheer and our loss still pains. This year we added a lovable new great-granddaughter to our family. Not to worry, birthdays, our 61st wedding anniversary are celebrated and a well deserved military salute to you, Eva, from me. Till we meet again. 1 Corinthians 13:13.
