Qur condolences and prayers to the Saenz family. I also remember what a great attitude Felipe had and now he smiles from heaven. He loved music and his friends. People like Felipe are natural born friends and hard to find. He had a gift and now he is being rewarded by Christ. One of the Ramblers. Frank Catalano and Family in Tucson.

It is a sad time for me and my children because of the loss of a wonderful friend. I remember Brother Saenz with the twinkle in his eyes as he greeted us with a contagious smile and his arms extended for a warm hug. Our family shared great times with all of the Saenz family (before everyone grew up)..and that is why this time is sad...but it is also a time of rejoicing because one more faithful soldier has made it home. I say faithful, because he was faithful to God, his wife, his children, grandchildren and his friends. Wow, what an example he hs left all of us! What shoes to fill...what footsteps to follow! Tita, Anita, Phil, Terry and Ruben and all the rest of the family, you're in our thoughts and in our prayers!

To the Felipe Saenz family, my deepest sympathy. Felipe and I were friends and patrol boys at El Rio Elementary School (Manzo) and later he was at many pratice sessions at Guero Guerras home as we practiced music (the Ramblers) and later he and his brother helped lay the bricks at my home in 1973. He placed a lucky coin in the concrete walk for me and it has worked.
I wanted you to know that Felipe touched my life and I will not forget his kindness. God Bless you all.

Saenz Family,

I am so saddened by Sope's passing. I know that he is now with the Lord in paradise. I will always remember when we worked together bricklaying and all the fun we had laughing and joking the whole day. I hadn't seen him in awhile but I always remembered him in my heart. Again my condolences are with all of you.

To all the Saenz Family...Your Father was a people person, that's what made him so special. His laughter and that grin on his face will always be remembered. He had a certain glow in his eyes when he spoke of his family, you were all so special to him. He was a true servant and follower of Christ, what an example to all of us! Bro. Saenz, we will miss you very much but we know that we will see you very soon! We pray for the family, that God may comfort you and fill your hearts with His perfect peace !!!

Tio Sope, I liked saying your name at family get togethers. ( I thought it was cool) I thought it was your real name! You were always kind to me and I appreciate that. I admire that you fought the good fight and finished this earthly race. I will see you someday soon when we are caught up along with Tata Luis to meet our King. Love Connie Marie

To the Saenz family, I wish to express my sincere condolenes on the passing of Sope. I know first hand he was a great man, husband, father and friend. I spoke to Sope a few months ago as I was working and happened to drive by the old neighborhood. It was good to see him and his big smile. I'm gonna miss him. May God bless you Sope and your entire family. Love, Officer Mario Cruz (Tucson Police) "Tiny"

To my loving Father, I will miss you dearly! You taught me how to love God, family, life and people. You never preached a sermon with your lips but you did with your life and example of faithfuliness in your marriage of 55 years to my mother which speaks volumes to me.
You were always so giving and thoughtful of others and always so proud of us your children. I know you are now in a better place but the pain of your departure and brief journey in this world is so great because you were so full of life that brought joy the moment you stepped into a room. I will always be proud of having you as my dad and you will always be part of my sermons when I speak about integrity and character.
Con todo mi Amor y Carino

Your Son, Phil Saenz

Sope, why have you left us so soon?? My God, you were just on my mind the other day. You were always a good friend to me, as you were to others. There was one incident in my mind that always inspired me. You taught me many things as I was growing up, I just never acknowledged them. You and Luis were my mentors, so to speak. You were always so funny. You were a great man, and you will be missed.
To the immediate, and extended Saenz families, my sincerest condolences. Words are hard to come by now, as Felipe was always a good man to everybody. I could go on all day about Sope. My prayers will be with him, and with his family. God Bless You all.
