Frances A. Alvarez Born December 3, 1923. She went to be with our Lord on August 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Florencio "Lencho" Alvarez; son, Larry Alvarez; parents, Jose and Dolores Altamirano and sister, Mary Gradillas. She is survived by brothers, Joe T. and Oscar Ruben Altamirano; her children, Armando (Bernadette) Altamirano, Irene Madrigal, Pat (David) Valenzuela; eight grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom she held close to her heart. She was employed in retail sales, retiring from Dillard's in 1985. Her retirement years were spent caring for her parents, and providing loving childcare for nieces and nephews, who have shown immense love to their "Aunt Frances", throughout the years. "Dear Mom, sister, grandma, aunt, and friend, we say adios, knowing good-bye is not forever. You are deeply loved and will be greatly missed." Funeral Services to be held at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1220 S. 6th Ave. on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Rosary to be recited at 11:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., with interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.
