ANCHONDO, Gabriel Y. It is important for us to tell you to think of a man. Hard working, came from not much, from a ranch outside of Tucson. He met the love of his life, and with nothing, built something. He created a whole new life, always including where he came from. Built his house with his own hands. He Fathered nine children, met grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was married for 65 years. And then he lost the love of his life, and it brought his family even closer. This is our Father, Grandfather, friend and guiding light. When you think of a man who embodied and instilled hard work, being humble and telling it like it is, you're thinking of him. Our lives are better, stronger and driven by the words we often heard you say "You're going to be Somebody." We miss you, love you and treasure our memories. United with the love of your life Mary Anchondo, to continue to guide us along, everyday. We celebrate your legacy.
