My condolence to the family. I have good memories of Gilbert. I to played sandlot ball in the neighborhood and went to Robinson. One memory I'll never forget when Gilbert and a group of guys played in a school function at Robison Elementary School imatating The Coasters with the song "CHARILE BROWN YOUR A CLOWN". Gilbert was playing his saxaphone it look so real. I remember riding in his brown Corvette when he just got it he was so happy...I won't forget you Gilbert.

Our condolences to the Mariscal Family. It had been years since I had seen Jr. I remember playing sandlot baseball when we were kids, and played against the team east of Tucson Blvd., just North of 22nd St. We didn't have team names, but we didn't need one, because we all knew each other. God Bless Jr. and all of the Mariscal Family.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Mariscal family. I first met Junior in the early 70s when my late husband and I would go the 'old' resterant and I'd watch "Micha" make machaca; whenever Junior was there he always gave you a smile, was happy and everyone was greeted by name. He truly was a wonderful man and friend. May God watch over your entire family and know Junior is safe is God's hands. Blessings on your Family.

Gilbert was my friend and "protector", to some extent, when we were at Robison Elementary School. I was a chubby little guy and some little girl made fun of me for it. Gilbert, to my everlasting gratitude, came to my aid by telling her, "that's not nice to say. How would you like it if you were fat?" Gilbert, I'll always love you and though you are gone now, I'll always remember you fondly.
