Haddon Blanco Obituary

BLANCO, Haddon Brooks, the beloved son of Ernesto and Lisa Blanco, arrived earlier than expected on March 31, 2011. He lived for 40 wonderful and difficult hours, surrounded by his family, until he went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2011. Knit together perfectly, he was and is a beautiful image bearer of God's glory. His family is comforted to know that God remains faithful and sovereign and that Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life. We are thankful to the Lord for the brief time that we had with our beautiful boy. We love you and will see you soon in Christ's presence! Numbers 6:24-25 and Job 1:21, among other verses, are special Scriptures to the family during this time. A public Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. at Catalina Foothills Church in Tucson. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the memorial fund in honor of Haddon Brooks Blanco. Ernesto and Lisa have always planned to adopt, and this fund will be used toward that end in the future. Donations will be collected at Sovereign Grace Church, (520) 742-1615, 1241 W. Ina Road, Tucson, AZ 85704.

Dear Ernesto & Lisa Blanco, what a beautiful name you chose as beautiful as your little angel I know. Ernie, this is Linda Stephens (Blanco), Bill's first wife. Many years have gone by, but I always think of all of you in your family.
Ernie and Lisa, I am so so sorry for your loss. I share in your heartache as well as joy, knowing you will see your little one someday. And that's the promise of the gospel.
Thank God that The Lord is there to heal you and let Him hold you in His arms while you are healing. Cry when you need to, Praise Him always, but talk about Haddon, you will see the healing come forth.
God Bless you Ernie & Lisa, and all of your family. I adopted as well, and then the Lord blessed me with my own daughter, now 22, a therapist, and my adopted son is now 28. And he is in the Navy, married and has a daughter of his own now. I am blessed. Please contact me.
Love in Jesus, Linda Stephens Bilbrey

Dear Ernie and Lisa, we are so very sorry for your loss. We are constantly praying that the Lord comfort you both and carry you through. We truly know your beautiful Haddon is in the arms of Jesus now, and he is not gone, but away. Someday, we will all be with him. I think the Lord needs to have the most special with Him and Haddon just happened to be one of those most special. We love you guys. Prayers will continue. Blessings, Christine, Jimmy, Joseph and Daniel Anaya
