Helen was a very special lady and friend. She truly exemplified a 'life-long learner' always taking current events classes well into her 80's and traveling all over this vast world! We were blessed to have her join many of the 'Hawley' celebrations. We will miss her alot.

To Bill, Steve, Jeanette, Cindy and your families.
Helen may have been my sister-in-law but I always thought of her as a sister and loved her very much. She was so good to me in my growing up years and I enjoyed even her even more after Dean and I were married and we had visits from her and Charles. I last talked to her the last week in April and she told me how ill she was but I didn't realize how critical she was.
Dean and I send our deepest sympathy to all of you.

I only met Helen a few times but I remember her as a very gracious lady.
My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Bill, Steve, Jeanette, Cindy, and all your families,
I first saw Helen when Charles brought her out to our farm in Nebraska as his new bride, about 1945 or so. As a 13 year old farm boy, I thought she was just about the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen - - - and being from California, I thought she surely must be a movie star. Tina and I were blessed through the years knowing her and all of you in her family. We will certainly miss Helen. Love, Jerry Colling and Tina
