Henry Cha OCHOA

OCHOA, Henry Cha passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 following a brief illness. Henry leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Christina G. Ochoa; his five children, Teresa Ochoa (Michael), Victor Ochoa, Marianna Leonardi (Livio), Christopher Ochoa (Shavon) and Henry Ochoa; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Henry was born August 21, 1929 in Bisbee, Arizona to Conrad and Mariana Ochoa (deceased), he had three brothers, Conrad, Alejo and Hector (all deceased) and two sisters, Angie (deceased) and Erlinda Niven (Ernie) still living in Whitney, Texas. Henry joined the Army in 1949 and served in the Korean War as a medic, he was awarded a variety of medals. After leaving the military he met Christina Gutierrez and soon after was married, Henry worked for 20 years for Standard oil, became a Millwright and finally a Contractor. He worked hard all his life and lived for his family. He was a great father and grandfather not only to his children and grandkids but too many of his nieces and nephews. He was a kind loving hard working man that will never be forgotten by the lives he touched. Services will be Friday, November 17, 2017 at St. Marks Catholic Church, 2727 E. Tangerine, Oro Valley.
