Howard Cornwall Obituary

CORNWALL, Howard L., 88, was born to George and Laura Jackson Cornwall on May 22, 1922. Having lived most of his life in Milford, CT, Howard and his wife, Patricia, resettled in AZ in 1987. In 1982, they moved to Green Valley, where he was predeceased by his wife of 59 years in 2002. Howard passed away in Amado, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law on March 16, 2011. He was surrounded by those he loved including his beloved Bosco and Kitty Kat. A more devoted lover of animals has yet to be discovered. Howard's wit and wisdom will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He was very proud of his family and his country as a young Army Air Corps B-29 mechanic; Howard served during WWII in such far-flung places as North Africa, India and on Tinian Island; from which the conclusion to the war was launched. Howard is survived by son, Howard L. Cornwall, Jr. (Debra) of Milford, CT; daughter, Sherry C. Brown (Lloyd) of Amado; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Remembrances in his honor may be made to the Ironwood Pig Sanctuary, or Soulistic Hospice Care, whose loving care will always be remembered by our family. Funeral Service at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, Friday March 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with V.F.W. Post #10188 officiating. Interment National Memory Cemetery of Arizona. Arrangements by ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL.
