Imogene HARRINGTON Obituary

HARRINGTON, "Jean" Imogene born in Hammond, Indiana on September 23, 1929 to August and Mabel Tippett. An only child, Jean moved to Tucson with her parents as a teenager and fell in love with Arizona. She traveled extensively with her best friend, Myrna and Goddaughter, Monique who became her second family. Jean left this earth on July 5, 2017 and joins her father, mother, Monique, beloved pets and many close friends and family. She is survived by her cousin, Cookie and family, four-legged babies Angel and Mimi, as well as friends too numerous to count who loved Jean for the joy and mischief she brought to our lives. Mass will be offered for Jean on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church (1375 S. Camino Seco) where Jean was a long-time parishioner and member of the church choir. She will always be missed and so fondly remembered, we love you Jean!

I met Jean at Pima before she retired. She had a great personality and good sense of humor. I will always remember her for that, and for the love she had for her pets. My condolences to her family.
