What a wonderful and gifted man! Our Jim was such an important part of our family and one of my father's closest friends - like brothers. When my Dad passed away, he told me if I ever needed anything, call Jim. Jim was so smart, a good listener and great storyteller! He was such a hard worker and whatever he built, it was solid! I loved the twinkle in his eye and his ready smile. He was so happy when he found you, Karen, and you became a part of his life! We all were happy for the both of you! His strong faith carried him through life and into the next. What a reunion there must be in heaven for all who loved Jim! Jesus told his believers that he has gone on ahead to prepare a place for us, but if there is any building to be done, I know Jim will be standing next to my Dad, hammer in hand and ready to serve! Our prayers for peace for you, Karen, and all of Jim's family.

Dearest Karen,
How happy Jim must be this day...with family and friends. He lived a good life, and a faithful one. He and my husb. were
friends long ago. My love to you Karen, for your love and devotion to him...
You will see him again.

What a delightful, inspiring man! I met Jim at the pool when I started going early mornings. He was there everyday doing his exercise routine & talking to many friends. He remembered everyone's name after meeting them once! He had a wonderful sharp mind, told lots of stories & had lots of interests. I feel very honored to have called him my friend, he is missed at the pool! May you Rest In Peace.

Jim, there is no way I could ever repay you for all that you taught me. Not just about construction either. Thank you for so many great memories. I loved working with you and laughing with you at all the hilarious stories we got to share. I loved riding through town with you and you telling me all the houses you built or remodeled over the years. It was like living History with you. Sir, it was truly an honor.
