John was and continues to be an inspiration and role model to the kids in our community. He was a dear friend to me and think of him often. I see bumper stickers that say "Thank a Cop" It breaks my heart because I think of John and know that, they (cops), are not thanked enough. John and his family paid the ultimate sacrifice and I know from my friendship with John that that was truly his passion in and for life.
John your Mom is now where she longed to be, with you in the Kingdom of Heaven.
I am a better person having had you in my life and was blessed with your unconditional friendship.
