Dear Janet,
I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Doug is up in heaven with the angels now. Remember, He will always be with you in your heart. I'm a friend of your son, Doug and his wife Kellie. When you feel down, think of all the fun times you spent with him and how he made you smile. I'm sure there's many. I recently lost both my parents and miss them very much. I'm thankful for all the days I got to spend with them and everything they taught me.
Sincerely,
Sylvia Shelp

Dear Aunt Janet, Rick, Doug and extended families:
I am sorry for your loss and hope you find peace in Uncle Doug's passing. Especially knowing that he is no longer suffering. I have very fond memories of hanging out with Uncle Doug when we were young and all the silly things he did that made me laugh.
Rick, you've been a fantastic help to your parents and a caring, thoughtful caregiver to Uncel Doug in his last days.
Love you,
Bev and Ed

Dear Rick,
I read Dad's obituary in the paper this morning and wanted to send my condolences to you and mom at this time of loss.
You truly did an exceptional job in caring for your dad during this last chapter of his life and in juggling the needs of both your parents.
I hope that you continue to find time and energy to care for yourself.
Sending warmest regards,
