Julia ROBSON Obituary

ROBSON, Julia "Julie" Margaret of Oro Valley, Arizona, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Oro Valley Hospital. Julie was born on September 11, 1939 in Mercedes, Texas to the Reverend Robert and Edna Martin. As a family, including sister, Virginia (Norman) Krumholz, they moved to various cities; St. Francisville, LA, Kansas City, MO, Garden City, KS and Grand Ledge, MI. Julie attended Michigan State University for two years, where she met her husband of 57 years, Harold "Hal" Robson. In 1960 they moved to Lake Forest, IL where together they raised four children. Julie worked at the Lake Bluff Nursing Home, and as a clerk in Lake Forest at various stores. She was very active at The Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest, serving as a teacher and member of the altar guild. In 2000, Julie and Hal moved to Tucson, AZ. They are members of St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church in Tucson. Julie was an active member of the altar guild, assisted as an usher, served at Primavera Meals, participated as a reader and Lay Eucharist Minister. As a lifetime Christian, she had deep faith and recognized the needs of other people. Julie was loved by many. Julie and Hal enjoyed many happy trips to Mexico and traveling throughout the world. Julie is survived by her husband, Hal; children, Debra (Bruce) McCririe, Mark (Claire) Robson, Kenneth Robson, Jennifer (Shawn Weirather) Robson and five grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church, Tucson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church Altar Guild.
