3rd Armored Division SPEARHEAD US ARMY has lost another TRAINING RECRUIT of Cold War era 1978. Karl was a professional boxer, cover TKO magazine, telecast twice by ESPN, and was once the RANKED Number Ten light heavy weight boxer of the united states of America.

Karl and I became friends as Seniors at Flowing Wells. I seem to remember that we also worked together at the Tucson Raquet Club or Cocos. I remember how he was an avid Kung Fu fan. He'd always challenge people to push a knife against his sternum. He had a Firebird that he was extremely proud of. Finally, I remember how proud he was of his older brother who joined the Armed Forces. He always had a smile and extremely friendly. God Bless Karl!!

Karl and I attended elementary school and on to high school at flowing wells.
I Remember him as a gentel soul.
