Ken Josephson was born on March 18, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. He moved with his parents to Boston, then back to Chicago, and finally to Tucson where he graduated from Catalina High School in 1985. His high school days were filled with music as he participated in marching band and jazz band. After high school he explored life in various places including Maui, Hawaii before returning to Tucson to work with his parents, Chuck and Joan Josephson, at the Print Well. He cherished his family, particularly his cousin, Sandy Josephson and her family, the Allan Josephsons, in Minneota, Minnesota. He frequently visited them. He loved and sought out friends. Anyone who knew Ken learned that his greatest joy came from doing what he could to take care of others and seeing the happiness of others. He was a giving, not a taking, person. The last few years of his life were marred by mental difficulties, causing both him and those closest to him great pain and concern. We lost his life when he accidentally lost consciousness as he drove from his home to surprise his parents with his company on July 5, 2013. He was 46. Listing all relatives as 'survivors' in an obituary is particularly inappropriate here. All of us are survivors of Ken's passing, but none - family, friends, even those who had no idea he existed - can ever survive his loss, because his joy with us was not complete. A Memorial will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Rosemont Community Church, 5005 East Winsett. No flowers, please. Donations may be made in Ken's name to the Community Food Bank.
