LeRoy TERVEEN

TERVEEN, LeRoy passed away March 30, 2017, he was raised on a farm in rural South Dakota. He went to work for Al Johnson Construction Co. out of Minneapolis, MN. He left South Dakota and followed the company in general construction in 1954. His work took him all over the United States. He worked in the field, moving into supervision and later Vice President in 1979. He also served as President of the Grizzly Engineering Corp. in Rock Springs, Wyoming and President of Quality Paving & Utility Co. in Tucson, AZ. He served as past President of the Tucson Utility Contractors Association and served on the Board of Directors for the National Utility Contractors Association out of Washington, D.C. LeRoy also served in other positions for organizations in Arizona and Tucson. LeRoy was very involved with the Lutheran Church serving as Chairman of the Council in Tucson. LeRoy is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean. Survived by his son, Kenneth and wife, Gloria Kay; two grandchildren, Aaryn and Ashlea; two great-grandchildren, Delilah and Steven Thomas.
