Louis M. Bustamante "Luis" Sr. 82 years old, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2013. He is preceded in death by parents, Ricardo and Hortencia Bustamante; brother, Ricardo, Jr.; sisters, Alicia Meza and Virginia French. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Esther Yslas Bustamante; daughters, Rosanna (Oscar) Cañez, Diana (Pedro) Bustamante; son, Louis (Maria) Bustamante, Jr.; sisters, Bertha Sanchez, Evelyn (Sonny) Polanco, Olivia Bustamante; brother, Frank (Jessie) Bustamante; grandchildren, Francisco (Lupe) Cañez, Rudy, Esther Marie, Juan Pablo; great-grandchildren, Reyana and llyana Cañez. Louis (Luis) retired as a Master Sergeant of the U.S. Army reserves, 8th/ 40th Armor after 20 years. He also served his country during the Korean War. He served a long career in sales with Springs Hardware and Supply Company and the University of Arizona Shipping and Receiving. Louis proudly served as a Eucharistic minister at St. John's Catholic Church. Louis's family would like to extend special thanks to the caregivers at Desert Serenity Assisted living and Agape Hospice Services for all the loving and compassionate care they provided for our father. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Friday, April 19, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Church, 602 W. Ajo Way. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
