Manuel "Manny" FELIX

FELIX, Manuel "Manny" died peacefully on November 12, 2016 in Tucson, at the age of 80. He is survived by his brother, Felix Ortiz; children, Dee Felix, Bo Leyva, Myrna Hudson, Lorraine Mullins, Vicky Sykes, Ruby Kwartz, numerous grandchildren, and ex-wife, Marie Obery, who lovingly cared for him during his illness. Manny is preceded in death by his mother, Manuela Ortiz and his sister, Delia Dreeszen. Manny was born on March 4, 1936 in San Blas, Mexico. He joined the USMC from 1954-1958 and spent a year on the USMC Baseball Team. He worked in construction, specializing in cement & tile work. He loved playing pool and played on many leagues in town. A Memorial Service and reception is scheduled for Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at American Legion Post 36, 5845 E. 22nd St. All are welcome to attend.
