Maria Lucero Obituary

Maria Otilia "Tillie" Soto Lucero born January 13, 1922, in Tucson, Arizona, passed away at her home, while surrounded by family on March 17, 2011. Tillie dedicated her life to her family and spent her young adult years assisting her husband, Noverto "Bert" Lucero while he was a general contractor. She generously gave to her favorite charitable organizations. She will be fondly rememeberd for her independent, hard working and spunky nature. Survived by daughter, Rosalie (Louie) Cooper: two grandchildren, Judith and Elizabeth; three great-grandchildren, Maricela (Beau), Joel (Julianna) and Savannah; three great-grandchildren, Gabriela, Tristian and Landon. A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2011, at St. Ambrose Church, 300 S. Tucson Blvd. Entombment will follow at Holy Hope Mausoleum. Arrangements by ADIAR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
