Marian RUDIGIER Obituary

RUDIGIER, Marian (Smith) died peacefully at home on April 16, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Joe, three children, Lynn (Griffin), Carol (Galbreath) and Brian, their spouses and four grandchildren. Born in Washington state and raised in Washington D.C., her father was a Congressman who, along with her mother, instilled in her a passion to help those in need and treat all living things with respect. Throughout her life, Marian volunteered to improve the lives of countless disenfranchised people, and saved hundreds of abandoned and homeless animals. She served as the President of Animals Crusaders. Her life will be celebrated on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 9252 E. 22nd Street. Reception at church to follow immediately. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made in Marian's name to Animals' Crusaders of Arizona.

Nenories of Joe & Marian 'way back to 60's -their convertable, open to UA, escorting Robt Kennedy campaigning & great speech, - an even more joyous memory, our patio, starry nite, brownies baked by our teens, ??? - planets danced, music rocked, Ah youth our liberal bonds/hopes/friendship!
