Marjorie R. Cleveland passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 25, 2012. She was born on October 20, 1930 in Ravenna, Ohio to Horace and Hazel Alderman. She will be remembered always for her sweet nature, kindness and helping hands. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Wheeler. She was a caring and loving mother of four children, Karen Jablo, Allen Cleveland (Sue), Janiece Dickenson (Mark), Brenda Beaty (David) and six grandchildren, Heather Decker, Raymond Cleveland (Autumn), Christopher Cleveland (Malyssa), Amanda Beaty, Corey Crace (Shelby), Ryan Beaty and four great-grandchildren, Brynn, Trey, Alexis and Madyson. In 1943 Marjorie moved to Tucson, Arizona with her family. She spoke often of her father making willow furniture and her making and selling crepe flowers and honey door to door to help her family. She loved to dance with her husband, fish, camp, bird watch, Site see, travel and collect sea shells. She was a devoted and loving wife to William S. Cleveland for 53 years and worked alongside him in the construction industry and in the garden. She loved to cook and enjoyed the company of her children and grandchildren. She was always the first to help a friend or family in need. She will be missed by many close friends and family. Many thanks to Indian Ridge Residence and Odyssey Hospice staff for their loving care. Visitation will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
