Michael FISCHELLA Obituary

FISCHELLA, Michael Ray 63, died June 23 2017. Survived by his parents, Ray and Jo Fischella, brothers, Tom and Bob; his sister, Lynn and his sons, Philip and Ryan. Mike worked for many years as Head of Transportion at St Joseph's Hospital before opening his own auto repair shop, TuneTech. With his wife, Lynn (m.'84 - '05), he helped raise two boys who both currently serve in the Navy, a fact of which he was most proud. An extremely hard worker and equally generous, friendly person, Mike was always willing to help and completely selfless. He was loved and will be missed by many, many people. Funeral Service: Our Mother of Sorrows, 1808 S. Kolb at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2017.

Mike and I worked together in the transportation dept. at St. Joe's and he helped with my various rock bands at that time. (1974-1976). We had some great, great times. Met back up from Facebook and saw him at his house off of Kolb a few times fairly recently. Two words Mike: cowl induction.

I was very saddened to hear of Mike's death, such a kind, hard working family man. I knew him from my early days at St. Joseph's Hospital. My prayers are with the family, I agree Ruth Farfaro, surely the Lord welcomed him with open arms, saying "well done"!

Very saddened by the news. Just saw the notice today (7/3). I knew Frank from both St. Joseph's and bringing my car to TuneTech. May God bless Mike's family, and may He give them his peace.

I too have many fond memories of Mike from St. Joseph's Hospital and his auto shop. We had a great laugh because I brought my car in and there was a pack rat hiding in it, and we didn't know it. It was there over night, and he found it in the morning! Rest in peace, my friend. "Well done, good and faithful servant"....

I knew Mike from our St. Joseph's hospital days in the '70's and even his Tune Tech days.

He was always a great friendly guy and went out of his way to work with and help you.

I was saddened to learn of his death and offer my condolences to his family and friends. So many of our family at St. Joseph's hospital have left us.

Mike's passing was all too soon.

I have known Mike for a very long time. He will definitely be missed! Many memories of him in the 70's when he was single. Then I introduced him to my friend, Lynn.. they got married and raised to amazing young men. Life changed and we moved away so I have not seen him in awhile. May he rest in peace!

Amazed at Mike's childlike delight in play! He always had remote control model cars, planes and boats, he was fascinated with flying, loved music, magic, Machinery, his children, and God. He was taken too soon, and will be missed terribly. There is a peace knowing Mike will be in God's care, until we meet again my friend. My thoughts and prayers for family.
