Michael TAVEL Obituary

TAVEL, Michael "Mikey T" passed away on December 1, 2016. Mike was born on June 7, 1956 in Phoenix and called many places home in Arizona. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1979, and went on to pursue a career as a stockbroker, fulfilling his passion for finance. In addition to spending time with his family, Mike enjoyed golfing, playing tennis, and competing at the Poker table. He is preceded in death by his father, Alexander Gordon Tavel and his mother, Anne Jean Tavel. He is survived by his daughter, Laura; the love of his life, Candace Cassell; brother, Rand (Lynn) Tavel; nephews, Adriel and Zach Tavel; miniature dachshund sidekick, Louis and many wonderful lifelong friends and extended family. Private Services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements by ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME.

To Mike's family,
I grew up in Casa Grande knowing Mike. He had one of those personalities that knew how to make you laugh. Sounds like he had many interests and a loving family.
