Mildred Smith Obituary

SMITH, Mildred E., 92 of Tucson, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Casa de la Luz Hospice, Tucson with most of her family at her side. Mildred was born on June 26, 1918 in Arcola, IL to Charles and Susie Biggs. She married Paul Smith on July 19, 1936. He died in 2002. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry; three brothers and one sister. Survivors include a daughter, Dorie (Bob) Wright of Tucson; a son, Jim (Myrna) Smith of Huachuca City, AZ; seven grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. We would like to thank Faithful Heart and Casa de la Luz Hospice for providing Mildred with quiet, loving care during the last days of her life. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Casas Adobes Congregation Church, 6801 N. Oracle Road, Tucson. Memorial contributions may be made in Mildred's name to Casa de la Luz Hospice. Arrangements are by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY. www.evergreenmortuary-cemetery.com.
