Odell Griffin Obituary

Odell Donald Griffin a much loved man, passed away from cancer on May 26, 2011 at the age of 72. He was born in Clover Bottom, Kentucky and moved to Tucson in the 1960's. Working construction, he helped build McKale Center, Tucson House and others. He raced cars and built movie sets at Old Tucson, loved golfing and became an accomplished artist. He leaves his wife, five children and 13 grandchildren. He requested no services but as he always would say, "I'll see you on down the road". Arrangements under the care of VISTOSO FUNERAL HOME. "My friend Odell will be missed. I had some great times with him when I was young. Hunting, fishing, camping and just going out into the desert and having a cook out. My dad, Vern Merrick, who has passed away, considerd Odell his best friend. Condolences to his family and friends."
