Paul Binney Obituary

Paul Austin Binney After a long and rewarding life, Paul Austin Binney passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on February 21, 2011. Born August 8, 1927 to Ernestine and William Binney in Madison, Wisconsin, Paul went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin in 1949. He married the love of his life Ruth Elaine Marsh, October 24, 1953. By 1961 Paul was a father of two handsome boys Craig and Dane. In 1963, he was awarded a full fellowship to complete his PhD in psychology at the University of Iowa. Upon his completion, he began a successful career in Mental Health Administration. In 1977, Dr. Binney went into private practice in Warren, Ohio in affiliation with Saint Joseph Riverside Hospital. His first love was music followed by fast cars. His oldest son Craig passed away unexpectedly in 1983 in a tragic accident. Paul is survived by his wife, Ruth Elaine; his son, Dane William (the late Donna Hogan) and his beautiful granddaughters, Sarah and Julia of Sydney, Australia. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at VISTOSO FUNERAL HOME. 2285 E. Rancho Vistoso Blvd, Oro Valley.
