Rachel Vandervoort Obituary

Rachel Anne Vandervoort was born May 17, 1926 in Anaconda, Montana, the daughter of George and Rachel Margaret Weber Stearns. She married Devereaux Peter Vandervoort in 1948. She moved to Sheridan, Oregon in 2007 from Tucson, Arizona where she had resided since 1972. In Tucson she was a member of P.E.O. BQ Chapter, Welcome Newcomers and Rolling Hills Golf Association. She was preceded in death by husband, Devereaux and sons, Robert and Alan. Survivors include daughter, Julie (Butch) Nosko and sister, Besse June Stearns Rowe (Loyd); seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She passed away at her home in Sheridan, OR on March 26, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Memorial Services will be Friday, April 1, 2011, 7:00 p.m. at the home of Julie and Butch Nosko. Arrangements by RESTLAWN FUNERAL HOME.
