Rulon "Jay" Cluff Funeral Services for Rulon "Jay" Cluff, age 76, of Pima, will be conducted Monday morning, August 23, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., at the Pima L.D.S. Chapel by Bishop Mark Beus of the Pima First Ward. Concluding Services with military honors conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans Honor Guard will follow in the Thatcher Cemetery. Jay passed away Wednesday morning, August 18, 2010 at his residence with his wife and daughter by his side. Jay was born in Thatcher, Arizona December 22, 1933 to Perry and Agnes Cluff. He graduated from Thatcher High School in 1952 and was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1953. In 1960, Jay married his eternal companion, Nettie I. Parsons. Together they raised a son and a daughter in Tucson and were later blessed with nine granddaughters and two grandsons. Jay worked and became General Manager for the Lucky Wishbone in Tucson for 25 years. In 1994, Jay and Nettie relocated to the Gila Valley and bought a piece of property in Pima. He and Nettie celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this past June. Over the years, Jay has made and kept many wonderful friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed. Jay leaves to mourn: his wife, Nettie of Pima; his son, Randall (Lauren) of Mesa; his daughter, Brenda Berni of Pima and 11 grandchildren. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at VINING FUNERAL HOME and Monday morning, August 23, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m., at the Pima L.D.S.
