Ruth Panthen Obituary

Ruth E. Panthen 3/9/1931 - 3/31/2011 A Tucson native, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Ruth went to join her husband, Ken in heaven. She is survived by her son, Matt (Gail) Panthen; her daughter, Jan (Dan) Troncale; grandchildren, Andrea Berical, Daniel (Chanel) Berical; two great-grandchildren, Gracie Belle Berical and Brody Carter Berical. She leaves a brother, Fred Peterson; a sister, Ann Wilkinson and many beloved relatives in Tucson and across the country. Ruth is remembered for her strong faith in Jesus, her sense of humor and love of the desert. She enjoyed card games, sewing and knitting. She will be cherished in our memories and hearts forever. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 830 N. First Avenue. Memorial Donations may be made in Ruth's memory to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church or Casa de la Luz Hospice. Arrangements are by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY. www.evergreenmortuary-cemetery.com
