Sally Gonzales Salcido 73, passed away on April 28, 2012, surrounded by her family and with open gates to heaven. Sally was born on October 16, 1938 in Tucson, Arizona. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and a true leader in our family. The family extends its gratitude to all who have supported Mom over the years as she fought through adversities that would make most give up hope. A truly amazing woman who truly cared for all. She is now our Guardian Angel! She is survived by an amazing caregiving husband and partner of 51 years, Raymond "Monchi" Salcido; daughter, Debra Miller (Larry); sons, Daniel Martinez, Edward Martinez, Raymond Salcido Jr. (Vanessa) and Rudy Salcido (Sabrina); grandchildren, she referred to them as her little monkeys, Celia, Stephanie, Savanna, Sabrina, Raymond IV, Fona, Kristal, Eric, Israel and Sariah; sister, Norma Martinez (Carlos); brothers, Richard "Dickie" Gonzales (Rachel), Armando Gonzales (Maya), Alfred Gonzales (Diane) and Robert "Bobby" Gonzales (Carol). She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Teresa Gonzales; brother, Ernie Gonzales; nieces, Terry and Joann and nephews, Little Bobby and J.D. Visitation Will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012, 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Tuesday, May 8, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
