Steven Roberts Obituary

ROBERTS, Steven L., age 65, passed away March 4, 2011 in Tucson. Born in Los Angeles, he and his wife moved to Tucson in the 80's to be near family. Survived by loving relatives: sister-in-law, Andrea Roberts; in-laws, Martin and Darice Lipsky of Rockford, IL; cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his cherished wife of over 30 years, Judith; brother, Tony and parents, Marcia and Lewis. Steve was known for his unique sense of humor, his genuine concern for others and desire to help, and his expansive knowledge and enthusiasm for his family's history. He had the best memory of all of us when it came to family stories and who was related to whom. Graveside Services will take place in the Temple Emanu-El section at Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the cancer, mental health or Alzheimers charity of your choice. Steve and Judy both touched our hearts as they lived next to us on Pierce Arrow. Steven was so worried about me when he found out I was moving away from our family home because Bill and I divoeced he gave me a book to read to keep my focus on the better picture. I always felt very sad for him after Judy past away because he was sure lost with out her. I will alway think of him as a very close friend, he was very special in my heart and felt very sorry to hear of his passing and to hear of it from my seven year old too late to be at his services. Please forgive me and if you should need my help feel free to send me an e-mail [email protected]
