From John P.
My dear Starr was the closest friend I've ever had, and I am truly blessed and honored beyond measure to have known and loved this very special Angel of Light whose genuine caring brought so much peace and comfort into my life.
And though I was graced by her lovely presence for only a few short years, and her immortal Spirit has now transcended this world, the precious memories of who she was, and of those wonderful times we shared together will remain, cherished in my heart forever.
--and I think this is beautifully expressed in the following poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Starr, what a bright soul you have been for all who have known you, and especially for the Global Chant community in Tucson. Your creativity and wit kept us in stitches at times and always aware. Bless you forever. Philip Franchine

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one Victoria. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. May the God of comfort (Psalms 83:18) be with your family at this difficult time. Please take care.
