Walter Sickelka Obituary

Walter Sickelka Born May 7, 1920, died April 6, 2011. He leaves a wife, Elsie Sickelka, they have three children, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was a World War II Veteran and served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He worked at White Sands Missile Range for the Federal Government as an electronics technician. He retired in 1983 and moved to Tucson, AZ, where he has lived the past 28 years. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Christ Church United Methodist, 655 N. Craycroft Rd., Tucson, AZ. Donations in Walter's honor can be made to the Arizona Cancer Center, 1515 N. Campbell, Tucson, AZ 85724-5013.

We will miss Walter as a friend and great neighbor. He is now in heaven with the lord as he was a Godly man and a fine example of how one should live life. Condolences to his family. Forrest and Maxine.
