ALTENHOF, William H., born July 7, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA died February 17, 2011. He served in the Air Force, stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, and owned Customized Woodworking until his retirement. Bill enjoyed his passion for woodworking up until his death. He enjoyed his breakfasts with good friends at Village Inn Restaurant and Dunkin Donuts, and was a loyal Steelers fan. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Bertha Altenhof and eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Randy Bowman and his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Merkle; four grandchildren, Alex and Adam Bowman, Rachel and Kelsey Merkle; niece, Linda Allardice (Jerry) and sons, Eric and Andy Buben; nephew, Martin Stickley (Linda) and sons, Matthew and Christopher Stickley. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church, 3925 E. 5th Street, Tucson. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Arrangements by A.L. MOORE GRIMSHAW MORTUARY.
