Kenneth Wayne Brazzle Of Tucson, passed away September 11, 2013. He was 63. Ken, a longtime sportswriter for the Tucson Citizen, was born September 10, 1950, in Cleburne, Texas, and graduated from East Texas State University with a degree in journalism. He worked for the Abilene (Texas) Reporter News from 1973-1985 and the Citizen from 1985-2009. With his caring nature and signature laugh, Ken had a positive influence on his family, athletes, coaches, journalists and members of Grace Temple Baptist Church, where he was a beloved Deacon. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Winzel Odom; mother, Betty Louise Brazzle; brother, Gerald Glenn Brazzle; and sister, Jacquelyn Othella Odom Russell. Ken is survived by his three sons, Jamar of Hacienda Heights, Calif., and Kevin and Terik of Tucson; five grandchildren; an aunt, Hazel King of Cleburne, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services are Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Temple, 1019 E. 31st Street.
