Raymond Edward Strittmatter passed into eternal life on Friday, February 13, 2014. He was born in Tucson on August 4, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyrillus and Marina Strittmatter; his infant sister, Betty; his oldest brother, Robert and his older sister, Kathleen. He is survived by sisters, Mary Lou and Dolores; brother, Don (Olive); nieces, Alice, Stacie (Richard) and JoAnne (Joe); nephews, Michael (Nicole) and John (Tammy); grandnieces, Katie, Amanda, Kimberly and Courtney; grandnephews, Nick, Mitch, Paul, Chris and Kevin and his brother-in-law, Bill. Ed was a Master Optician at the University of Arizona Optical Sciences Center and he was a continuous member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish all of his life. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Ed's name to the Reachout Pregnancy Center, 2648 N. Campbell Ave., Tucson, AZ 85719. Visitation will be at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Campbell Ave. and Lee Street at 9:30 a.m., Friday, February 21, 2014, followed by a Rosary at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Interment will follow in Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 520-327-6341.
