Mona Elien born June 13, 1932, also known as "Mona from Arizona", Berry, Wright and Kobus. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis Tour, M.D. Survivors include former husband, Joe Kobus; cousins, Donna and Ray Gentry; brother, Bill Wright of Yuma. Listed in the 1993-1994 Who's Who in the World. Mona lived in Prescott, Roll, Wellton, Tucson, Casa Grande, Flagstaff, Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. She was active all her life with civic organizations, and won numerous awards and honors. She worked for APS and retired from City of Phoenix Aviation Department.. Her loves were Bach, poetry, the Grand Canyon and the arts. She also adored hiking and mountaineering; she was a lifetime member of the Southern Arizona Hiking Club. Mona graduated from Swiss Mountain Climbing Institute in Rosenlaui, Switzerland, her trainer was the famous Arnold Glatthard. She climbed the three highest mountains and crossed the Grand Canyon in one day at age 57.
