WOLTER, James N., 77, was born to eternal life on April 9, 2014, at his home in Tucson, AZ. He was born May 5, 1936, in Milwaukee, WI, to George and Margaret (nee Lucassen) Wolter. He graduated Marquette University in 1957. In 1958 Jim married the love of his life, Anne (nee Genack) and they shared almost 53 years of marriage. Together they raised Katherine Wolter, James (Jeanette) and Jay (Elizabeth). He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Anne. He is survived by his grandchildren, Anna Weickhardt, Kyle Weickhardt, Matthew, Patrick and Zachary Wolter. He is further survived by his brother, Michael; his sister, Barbara Gilbert; brother-in-law, Robert (Nancy) Genack and a niece, nephews, and their families. He is also survived by many good friends. Jim started his career as a CPA in 1959 at Frazer & Torbet. He went on to become partner at Bersch & Co before leaving in 1971 to form Walsh Wolter & Co with friend Pat Walsh. Together they built a successful CPA firm which merged with Clifton Gunderson. Jim retired as partner in 1997. He and Anne moved from Brookfield to Land O'Lakes, WI, and Tucson, AZ. Jim shared his expertise serving on numerous boards. Their love endures in the hearts of those they left behind. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Catalina Catholic Church. The family wishes to give special thanks to By Your Side caregivers, notably Adan, Rose, Josie, Pedro, and Olga as well as Rita and the staff of Casa de la Luz.
