Earl Kearly of Tucson passed away on April 12, 2014 with his family by his side. Earl was born in North Tonawanda, NY in 1927. He served in the Navy in the latter part of WWII, stationed in Florida. After the War, Earl attended the New Mexico School of Mines in Socorro where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering. Earl married Betty L. Brace Kearly and had five children. He is predeceased by Betty, but is survived by his children, Lynda, Terry, Gloria, Dhyana and Michael; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and his companion of twenty three years, Eileen Dudley. After a lifetime career in Mining Engineering spanning Africa, South America and the western United States, Earl retired from Arizona Electric Power Company in Benson in 1990. He had a great passion for exploring the wild expanses of the western landscape and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and amateur archeology. We are all richer for his presence in our lives and we will miss him sorely. A gathering of family, friends and those who wish to attend to share memories of Earl will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Road in Tucson, Arizona.
