DEN DOOVEN, Alice, was the daughter of Eino and Alice Bahti born in Houghton, Michigan on May 6, 1929. She was the only daughter with two brothers, Jim and Tom. Alice has four daughters, Diane Faith, Susan Hope, Nancy Jane and Mari Katrina. Alice has five grandkids, Katrina, Lonnie, Derrick,, Nickolas, Elena and seven great- grandkids, Yesenia, Kendrick, Tiana, Sophia, Madeline, Lea Ani and Tyler. Alice was a social worker and her main love was working with people who had drug and alcohol addictions. She worked with the Yaqui Indians for many years and wanted to make a positive difference. She gave donations every month to charities such as Green Peace and the Humane Society. She felt very passionate about people getting involved in a cause. Alice passed on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in Scottsdale, Arizona. She will be truly missed and remembered for the great person that she was. Arrangements entrusted to MESSINGER INDIAN SCHOOL MORTUARY.
