Pamela G. Maina died in Tucson on April 29, 2014. She is survived by her husband, James; children, Ashley Lowe and her husband, Chris, Jeffrey Maina and James Maina; granddaughter, Brooklynn Lowe; sisters, Jana and Debbie and her mother, Billie Gilbert of Kerrville, Texas. Pami was known to all as an amazingly creative, energetic, vivacious and fun-loving woman, with an endless capacity for caring and giving. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife. Pami was a wonderfully nurturing and participatory parent to her three children. Her natural milieu was the outdoors; she loved fishing, camping and skiing. Pami came to Tucson in 1978 and soon met the love of her life, Jim. They were married for 30 years, enjoyed a huge circle of friends in Tucson, and were indefatigable hosts of countless outstanding dinners and events. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Road.
