Nazib "Nazy" Cranz born on April 14, 1935 passed away peacefully on May 2, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends. Preceded in death his parents, Frank and Eva; brothers, Frank Jr., and Charlie; daughter, Nadine Hernandez and son, Nick Cranz. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Ramona; children, Nazib (Kim), Ann Teague (Mick), Richard J.; sisters, Eva Beniretto, Emma Emily Cranz; nine grandchildren, Marrisa, Michael, Matthew, Miranda, Meagan, Eric, Cody, Aaron, Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Ally, Jacob and many nephews and nieces. Nazy loved to dance, sing and play his guitar, enjoyed to hunt and fish with family and friends. Talking was his passion especially while working on a car; he would talk for hours if you stopped by his garage. He was a Trustee member of the Fraternity Order of Eagles where he volunteered many hours and was recognized for his dedication with the Mr. Eagle Award. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Monday, May 12, 2014, 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Family and friends may express their condolences by visiting Arrangements by CARILLOS TUCSON MORTUARY.
