Albert M. Escobar, Jr. 59, of Tucson, AZ passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. Preceded in death by his son, Joel G. Escobar and mother, Rita M. Escobar. Albert was a product of Tucson, a true hometown boy. He was born in Tucson and grew up in Barrio Vista where he made many friends. He attended and graduated from Pueblo High School in 1973. For the past 40 years, Albert dedicated his professional life to the electrical industry, from his first job at Hussar Electric to his last job at Border States Electric. Albert was a professional who knew and loved his work, but above all else he loved his friends and family. Survived by his wife of 31 year, Vivian Escobar; daughters, Julie Almaguer (Robert), Rosie Johnson (Kenny) and son, Rene Escobar; grandchildren, Rianna and Adrian Almaguer, Mariella and Liliana Johnson; father, Albert Escobar Sr.; siblings, Lupita, Antonia Escobar, Lorenzo Escobar (Diane) and Camillo Escobar and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Albert was a very loving husband, father and grandfather all who knew him would agree. He will always be remembered and missed dearly. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Thursday, June 5, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
