Connie and Alfonso Jose Espinosa

Connie Espinosa (Perea) Alfonso Jose Espinosa Connie 86 was called home on June 19, 2014. Connie was originally from Conejos, Colorado where she met and fell in love with Alfonso Jose Espinosa who passed away April 7, 2001. The couple moved to Morenci, AZ, where they began their long happy life together. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary before he was called home. They moved to Tucson in 1944 where they would remain and raise their family. The couple had eight children, Cecilia (Ralph) Hernandez, Peter (Maryann) Espinosa, Albert (Esther) Espinosa, Alex Espinosa, Betty (Dave) Eagle, Linda (Larry) Murguia, Gloria (Bob) Segovia and Doreen (Frank) Galaz. In addition to their children, Connie had well over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren, five generations! Connie was truly the tree of life! All who knew Connie admired her for her strong faith and love for her family, putting her family above all else and making each one feel special. Connie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Connie is resting in peace, preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfonso Jose and her son, Peter. Visitation will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Saturday, June 28, 2014, 9:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. The Espinosa family would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Hospice Family Care and to all the caregivers who kept her comfortable in her last days.
