Marian Frances Wedding passed away July 20, 2014. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Thelma Murphy and sister, Carol Paver. She is survived by William, her husband of 62 years; sons, Bradley Wedding (Debra) and Randy Wedding; daughter-in-law, Rita Dilzer; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Marian was born in DeKalb, Illinois in August 1929 and after receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Colorado, she and William were married on their mutual birthdays. She was the Head Dietitian for a state institution in St. Charles and after the birth of her first son, they moved to Tucson, AZ where she devoted her time to being a wife, mother and homemaker. Many of their summers were spent in their travel trailer enjoying the countryside. After their children were grown, Marian was an active member of the Tucson community, including being President of AOII Alumnae Association, three time President of the Trowel and Glove Garden Club, President of the Old Pueblo Council of Garden Clubs, Chairman of the Heart Sunday Event with the Heart Association and a 20+ year member as a Craft Auxiliary of the Tucson Assistance League.
