CARBAJAL, Ignacio "Kito", a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2014 at the young age of 71. Kito was born on July 30, 1943 in Douglas, AZ. After honorably serving in the Army National Guard, he took advantage of an opportunity to work at the telephone company, eventually retiring after 30 successful years. Kito worked seven more years at SunVan, and was known as "the driver with the pretty, white hair." He was a loving man, and was loved and respected by all who knew him. He built a house for his family, which turned out to be a home for anyone who had the privilege of visiting, for countless celebrations, times of need, or just to enjoy a "cold one". Spending time with his family and friends was his greatest joy. He was a devoted Raiders fan and never missed the chance to cheer on the 'Cats. Kito is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elva "Nene"; daughters, Marisa, Rona and Arlene (Kevin) Alexander; granddaughter, Bryanna Calvillo and grandsons, Frankie Calvillo, Carder and Reilan Alexander; sisters, Oralia Flores, Irene Samaniego, Beatrice Macias, Eva Cordova and brothers, Daniel, David and Eddie and numerous nieces and nephews. Kito was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio and Maria Carbajal and brother, Frank. A Rosary will be held at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, Saturday, August 9, 2014, 10:30 a.m., immediately followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may express their condolences by visiting www.carrillostucsonmortuary.com
